Crisis of Consciousness

Every challenge we encounter, would be improved by increased consciousness.  Every relationship, every decision, every creation, is so much sweeter when it comes from expanded consciousness and love.

Lest you think this is a vast generalization, just imagine what life could be if we were more awake, more loving, more generous, more kind.  Imagine!

Imagine: that person at work who is always bullying others?  What if that person had a sudden awakening of insight, and greater  consciousness and empathy -  so that love became their motivation?  How would their  behavior change?  And how would this change everyone elses' experience of interacting with them?

What about climate change and pollution?  Imagine if all of us (including lawmakers) had a sudden awakening of consciousness, leading to a deep sense of awe and love for this planet as a sacred cradle of life?  What if love for every single living being on this earth became our motivation?  Would we dump poison into the air and water, knowing it would harm and/or kill humans and wildlife?  Would we instead work together to create the most beautiful paradise on Earth that we could imagine?

What about hunger?  Racism?  Bigotry?  Intolerance?  Imagine if every one of us were walking in higher consciousness, motivated by love and good will instead of hatred and ego.  What kind of world would we build?

We can't force expanded consciousness upon others, of course, but we surely can determine our own path to greater awareness, consciousness, and love.  And we can create a reality based upon these attributes, that flows outward from us and becomes a blessing to all... because being motivated by love brings about incredible, unimaginable, beautiful change.
