Something Sweet to Read to Yourself

I recommend reading it aloud to yourself slowly, three times... because it's so sweet.

I am the infinite deep
In whom all the worlds appear to rise.
Beyond all form, forever still.
So am I

Ashtavakra Gita

Your Universal Self is Always Available

You don't have to struggle to tune into your Universal Self. There are no complex rules to follow to "find" it. And though there are many names for this Universal Self (from conscience, to Higher Self, to Spirit, to God/Goddess) you could just think of it as the Big You.

The "You" that is so loving, so creative, so compassionate, so intelligent... that it finds you in your human form to be a pure delight. It can be a challenging concept to wrap your head around, but don't try too hard. If you haven't yet had the experience (and it's one of those concepts that the ancients said "cannot be spoken") don't worry, it will come. Woo-hoo!

Lucid Dreams & “Reality”

Ever have a dream when you wondered in the midst of it whether or not you were dreaming? Lucid dreaming is a skill you can acquire, and it's fun!

Knowing that if you're "just" dreaming, you can rewrite the scary parts (I've sometimes actually rewinded the dream1) and enhance the happy parts: run faster, jump higher, laugh your head off; summon guides, travel through time, read minds; levitate, manifest, do the impossible?

But then, you think to yourself, "Maybe this just can't be a dream, it's way too real."

Lucid dreams can teach us a lot about this reality...

Yeah, you're having one right now.

Remember…

Sometimes we make our path so complicated. You know what that's like... when we question why we're here, and wonder if we're doing all that we "should" be doing. We're often just too hard on ourselves.

But do you remember this? You are here on earth because in your limitless, loftiest state of being, as the Universe itself, at the pinnacle of your glory, you wondered what it would be like, even fleetingly, to believe in limits...And then learn to drop them all.
