Are you ready to use psychedelic medicines?

Magic mushroom, sacred geometry, mind expandPsychedelics, especially “plant medicines” are having their moment, again, at long last!  As a person who has utilized these sacred substances for decades, I am understandably enthusiastic. Those of us who use these medicines in a sacred manner are finally able to “come out of the closet”!Continue reading

Lightly My Darling

I’ve always loved Aldous Huxley; so many beautiful books and quotes from such a lovely spirit!  I highly recommend all of his writings, if you haven’t yet discovered him.

Here’s one that spoke to me today… perhaps it will speak to you, as well.  “Lightly my darling.”

It’s dark because you are trying too hard. Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly. Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply. Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them. So throw away your baggage and go forward. There are quicksands all about you, sucking at your feet, trying to suck you down into fear and self-pity and despair. That’s why you must walk so lightly. Lightly my darling.

Visionary Music

For those of you who know me through my music, you can still hear some of it it on the musician page, ScarletJinn.com .  Although much of it has currently been taken down when I took down both band sites,  Scarletjinn might be where I post new tunes as they become available.

As you know, many of the tunes have been redone in a more mellow delivery for meditation, altered states & end-of-life experiences.  These new versions are not yet turned into MP3s.  Eventually, I may also copy some of the more psychedelic music onto this site.

No promises as to how quickly that will happen 🙂

Living Gently with Gratitude

Someone recently asked me how to live with grace when the world feels like it is "spinning out of control".  There are all kinds of things we can do to stay centered and tuned into the Silent Center... but nobody said it would be easy.

Remember, my friends, to start each day with an attitude of gratitude... not in a superficial way, but genuinely take a look at the wonders that you've been graced with..yes, even in times of crisis. Perhaps especially then.

Sit in silence for  few minutes.  Feel gratitude for this experience of being a part of this beautiful planet Earth.

Do yoga or tai-chi and appreciate the flexibility and strength that you have today.  Dance.  Sing.  Play an instrument.  Do some gardening.  Create art.  Create beauty. Be kind.  And when you take political action - do it from a place of love.

Schedule a session with me if you feel the need of some guidance.  Drawing strength from each other is a good thing.  Don't be afraid to ask for help when you feel the need... and then, when you feel ready, pass it on.

That's how this works.

I LOVE this quote:

“Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.”
― Thich Nhat Hanh
